Sword Belly Dance With Anela:

All Classes are held on Fridays at Anela's Steel Shimmy Home Studio.

Each class is mixed level, beginners and experienced dancers are most welcome!

Class Dates:

8 Class Session

December 6th, 13th

January 3rd, 10th, 17th, 31st

February 7th, 21st

Class Times:

Choreography starts 7:30pm-8:30pm

Performance Rehearsal starts 8:30pm-9:30pm

*You MUST have a sword balanced for bellydance- please bring it!

Topics:

7:30pm-Choreography: We will learn a new sword choreography created by Anela. Movement technique and musicality will be emphasized during this class.

8:30pm-Performance Rehearsal: If you have considered group performance this class is for you! We will refine the choreography learned in the choreography class to be performed at the Anti-Valentines Day Hafla on Feb. 22nd. **If planning on performing all performers must take the choreography class, be committed to attending the last 2 classes/rehearsal dates (Feb. 7th and 21st), and some costuming and a sword will be required. This will all be discussed on the first night of class-if there are any questions/concerns prior to this please feel free to message.

Costs:

Choreography=$100 Choreography and Performance=$160

Drop-In’s to the Choreography Class are Welcome: Cost=$15 per class -message for address prior to class (cash or PayPal upon request-with additional fees only)
